The Red Kimona (1925)

This is an excerpt from The Red Kimona (1925), directed by Dorothy Davenport – a.k.a. Mrs. Wallace Reid, an actress married to popular matinee idol Wallace Reid. She took his name professionally after his death from morphine addiction, and produced such “social conscience” dramas as this film and the 1923 drama Human Wreckage, which focused on narcotics.
